Join Hilltop Artists for a Conversation
As part of our Visiting Artist Residency at Museum of Glass, Hilltop Artists will give an educational presentation. Hilltop Artists Executive Director, Kit Evans, will speak about the organization and the projects we are working on over the course of the residency. One project is inspired by Kantha embroidery, a textile artform from South Asia that tells stories through patterns and symbols. We are excited to share the stage with Cathy Stevulak, the Director and Producer of THREADS, who first introduced us to Kantha. Hilltop Artists staff and students will also communicate their ideas and plans for translating concepts from Kantha into glass art.
There will be a Q&A session following the lecture. The lecture is free with MOG admission.
