Please join us in celebrating the young women of Arts Connect 2 (AC2) at the 2018 Arts Connect Winter Showcase and the debut release of “Together We Are Our Stories,” a collection of writings.
Arts Connect 2 serves girls who are in foster care through the Pierce County Dependency Program. The young women of AC2 meet and learn about the needs of their community, such as hunger, homelessness, mental health, and domestic violence. At the showcase, the young women share their personal experience and journey through art and educate the audience on a community organization they have chosen to support.
Proceeds from purchased books will benefit the Arts Connect Program, supporting young women with a place to explore and enjoy the creative process.
Directions: Our hot shop is on the back side of Wilson High School off of 11th street. Turn into the parking lot between the building and the baseball field and it is the second building on the right.
