When art and the community come together, something amazing happens, we create a vibrant new hue, never seen before – a color beyond imagination.

Join us for a fun and inspiring afternoon at Museum of Glass on Sunday, April 23rd from 1 to 5 pm to honor our outgoing Executive Director, Kit Evans, and her ten years of dedication and work with Hilltop Artists.

This is a special, once-in-a-decade event to celebrate Kit, her team, our students, and the many accomplishments Hilltop Artists has achieved under Kit’s leadership.

Thanks to the generosity of Dale and Leslie Chihuly, the event is FREE for all youth ages 18 and under and proceeds from the adult admissions will be donated directly to Hilltop Artists.

Hilltop Artists Day kicks off at 1 p.m. with stomp rockets by the Tacoma Astronomical Society. The event also features family-friendly art activities, local entertainment, Hot Shop demonstrations by students and alumni, and much more.

Directions and Parking: Visit the Museum of Glass website for directions, parking, and public transportation options. In addition to the garage at the Museum, on-street parking around Tacoma is free on Sundays. The Tacoma Link light rail is also a convenient way to get to the Museum – park for free at the Tacoma Dome Station, ride to the stop at S. 19th and Pacific, and walk across the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to the Museum.

Admission:  Regular Adult Admission is $15. However, Museum of Glass has several admission categories including Seniors, AAA, EBT card holders etc, so please visit the Museum of Glass website for complete details. Thanks to a gift from Dale & Leslie Chihuly, all students up to age 18 are FREE on Sunday, April 23rd and proceeds from Adult Admission will be donated to Hilltop Artists.
